eregi

(PHP 3, PHP 4)

eregi - совпадение с регулярным выражением без учёта регистра символов.

Описание

int eregi (string pattern, string string [, array regs])

Эта функция идентична ereg(), за исключением того, что она игнорирует различия в регистре символов алфавита.
Пример 1. eregi()

if (eregi("z", $string)) { echo "'$string' contains a 'z' or 'Z'!"; }
